A Sweet Flashback!

Hello fans of Chelle! It's merchi aka Karen here...

I don't know about you, but it's always nice to look back and reflect on the old year when facing a new one! I think about what I did or did not accomplish in the old year; ways to change and improve in the new year; and things I did right and would like to do again!

Today I want to take a few minutes and look back on a kit Chelle LAST January... Sweet Thing

It's available in Chelle's ScrapMatters shop here!

It's a darling little kit, and there was actually a portion of it given away to ScrapMatters newsletter subscribers. (If you're not a subscriber, you can sign up here.) You'll want to do that, because there are always lots of great things in there! Speaking of newsletters... be sure you're a subscriber to Chelle's personal newsletter too...you'll find the link at the top of this blog on the right...and a few gift for signing up right above it!

This part of it is available here.

This week, Chelle came out with a fabulous alpha and template set. I used the template set with Sweet Thing to come up with this...

This is my newest granddaughter...isn't she the sweetest thing?

Something New!

I am in love with this! I think you'll love it too!
Plum Dumpling Designs has released a new kit today called A Photo A Day. It is great for all of you who do Project 365 or Project 52 - I don't, and I love it anyway!

Here's the preview:

Here's the page I did with it...

Celebrate a Flashback

Hello friends!

I don't know about you, but it's always nice to look back and reflect on the old year when facing a new one! I think about what I did or did not accomplish in the old year; ways to change and improve in the new year; and things I did right and would like to do again!

How did you ring in the new year? Did you have a party? Movie and ice cream night (my dd did)? Or maybe attend a Speed Scrap (like me)? I think Chelle's Celebrate! kits are perfect for scrapping your new year's celebration, no matter how you celebrated! The fun colors and elements are so versatile and not strictly for birthdays, take a look at Celebrate! Bold...

It's available in Chelle's ScrapMatters shop here!

I used it to create my January calendar topper for my 2011 calendar that I gave away as gifts this past Christmas... see my goofy children! lol:
